Oonagh Cox

Oonagh Cox

National Lead Governance & Compliance

Oonagh is a nurse with years of experience in the community, where she’s found real fulfillment in supporting others—particularly older adults. Growing up in a family business taught her the value of hard work and compassion, two things that have shaped her career every step of the way. Whether it’s through nursing, training, development, or even governance (the less glamorous side!), Oonagh is focused on making a positive impact wherever she can.

When shes not busy advocating for better care or sharing her knowledge, she loves spending time with her children and her extended family, taking walks, getting lost in a good book, or enjoying a great meal with friends. Life is full, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Managing Director

It has been my absolute pleasure and honour to have had the opportunity to work in the care industry for the past 20+ years and I’m excited to see how future looks as I embark on a new chapter with Atlantic Care. Together, our leadership team at Atlantic Care shares over 100yrs of experience and knowledge providing much needed care and training to your loved ones and Caregivers throughout the country. To date I have gained valuable experience working in very dynamic environments in the areas of education, training, disabilities, residential care, Independent living, community care and Senior care. I’m delighted and proud to have graduated from AIT with a Degree in Social Studies and Social Care which has given me a heightened understanding of quality care provision. Further more my time at college helped me to apply theory to practice in so many areas of social care and helped me to develop core traits such as empathy, compassion and trust, all qualities that I believe have guided me in the right direction working in care. At Atlantic care, I am very proud of our core values, Dignity, Integrity, Compassion and Excellence. I look forward to promoting these values into the future with the entire Atlantic Care team.
